Egypt Daily News – Negotiations between Liverpool FC and star player Mohamed Salah regarding a contract renewal have reportedly stalled, as highlighted by recent articles in several English newspapers.

The Times indicated that discussions between the club and Salah, as well as defensive players Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk, have reached a “dead end.” This impasse could potentially allow all three players to leave Liverpool as free agents at the end of the season if no agreements are made.

The Telegraph elaborated on this situation, confirming that although the club remains in constant contact with the trio, they have yet to find common ground, making any satisfactory agreement unlikely for the time being.

There are also rumors linking Salah to a move to the Saudi club Al-Ahli Jeddah, which has reportedly initiated negotiations with Salah’s representatives.

Meanwhile, The Guardian echoed the sentiments of other reports, stating that initial negotiations with Salah, Alexander-Arnold, and van Dijk have proven to be “extremely difficult” and “complicated,” with no satisfactory outcomes achieved thus far. In light of these challenges, Liverpool officials are reportedly redirecting their efforts to renew contracts for other players such as Kwanza and Konate.
