Egypt Daily News – An Iranian official stated that “Tehran” has instructed its military personnel to leave Yemen and has decided to halt its support for the Houthis to prevent conflict with the United States. It was confirmed that “Tehran” has scaled back its strategy of backing regional proxies in favor of addressing direct American threats.

Tehran’s primary concern now revolves around Trump and how to handle him. A senior Iranian official, who was not named, explained that this decision is aimed at avoiding direct confrontation with the United States in the event that an Iranian military member is killed.

The official further mentioned that “Iran is also scaling down its strategy of supporting a network of regional proxies to focus instead on direct threats from the United States.”

He elaborated that Tehran’s main focus is Trump, saying, “Discussions about him dominate every meeting, and no discussions are held regarding any of the groups we have previously supported in the region.”

An Iranian regime source noted, “The view here is that the Houthis are unlikely to survive and are living out their final months, or even days. So, there is no reason to keep them on our list.”

US attacks on the Houthis have continued nearly daily since mid-last month. Trump described the strikes as “incredibly successful,” claiming they destroyed significant military targets and killed leaders of the group.

A spokesperson for the US Department of Defense, the Pentagon, mentioned that additional warplanes would be deployed to the region, though specific details were not provided. The US’s 124th Fighter Wing announced late last month that it was sending “multiple” A-10 Thunderbolt II ground-attack aircraft and 300 airmen to the Middle East.

President Trump has been increasing pressure on Iran to negotiate limiting its nuclear program. Last week, Trump deployed stealth B-2 bombers to the US-UK Diego Garcia military base in the Chagos Islands.

The US stance on Iran and the Middle East has significantly shifted since Trump assumed office. He has proved that he’s a man who can get results.
