Egypt Daily News – The Central Bank had decided to increase the daily maximum limit for cash withdrawals in local currency to 250,000 pounds, instead of 150,000, and 30,000 from ATMs instead of 20,000, to facilitate transactions for bank customers.

The maximum withdrawal from ATMs (ATM machines allow withdrawals 24/7 and serve all Egyptian banks)

The Central Bank decided last April to increase the maximum cash withdrawal limit in local currency from ATMs to 30,000 pounds, instead of the previous 20,000 pounds.

This change comes to facilitate financial matters for customers and meet their daily needs.

In addition to ATMs, there was an increase in the maximum cash withdrawal limit from bank branches to 250,000 pounds instead of 150,000 pounds. This approach from the central bank clearly shows its interest in facilitating financial transactions and reducing congestion in the branches.
