Dog on Top of the Pyramids of Giza

Egypt Daily News – A remarkable incident unfolded recently when a dog was spotted roaming the summit of the Great Pyramid of Giza.

Paraglider Alex Lang, flying over the ancient site on October 14, 2023, recorded footage of the unexpected visitor, who appeared to be nonchalantly walking around the highest point of the pyramid, which stands at nearly 450 feet and has been a marvel for over 4,000 years.

In the video shared by Newsflare, Lang expressed his surprise at the sight, and even captured the dog barking at birds from the pinnacle of this historical monument. As he circled the pyramid for a better view, it was clear that the canine had created a stir among onlookers.

The following day, a witness named Marshall Mosher captured footage of the dog making its descent from the pyramid. In the video, the light-colored dog carefully navigated down the pyramid’s steps, wagging its tail and delighting viewers with its seemingly carefree attitude, while a voice offscreen expressed disbelief at the dog’s adventurous feat.

Despite local news agencies’ efforts, there was no clarity on how the dog managed to ascend to the top or if it had an owner. However, by the end of October 15, the dog had safely returned to the ground, leaving many to wonder about its remarkable journey.
