Egypt Daily News – The Israeli army announced in a recent statement that the ground operation aims to expand the defensive zone and establish a line between the northern and southern parts of the Gaza Strip.

It stated that its forces “control the central Netzarim axis” and will continue to act against what it called “terrorist organizations,” referring to Hamas, with the goal of protecting Israeli citizens. The army added that “Golani Brigade forces will be stationed in the southern area and will be ready to operate inside the Gaza Strip.”

On Wednesday afternoon, the Gaza Ministry of Health announced that one person was killed and five others were injured among foreign workers in UN institutions following an Israeli strike on their headquarters in central Gaza. The six individuals were transferred to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.

On Saturday, Israeli forces targeted aid workers in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza, killing eight members of their team.

Since early Tuesday, Israel has suddenly intensified its mass killings in Gaza, launching wide-scale airstrikes targeting civilians, resulting in hundreds of deaths and injuries.

Israel has resumed its devastating war on the Gaza Strip, violating the ceasefire agreement brokered by Egypt, Qatar, and the United States last January. This has sparked widespread Arab and Western condemnation, with Washington acknowledging coordination between the White House and the Israeli government regarding these operations.
