Egypt Daily News – Israeli Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz has called for the “quick liquidation” of Yahya Sinwar, who was recently appointed as the head of the Hamas political bureau.
This statement followed the announcement of Sinwar’s new role, which came after the reported killing of his predecessor, Ismail Haniyeh, in Tehran.
Katz expressed his views on the X platform, asserting that Sinwar’s leadership in Hamas adds urgency to efforts aimed at eliminating him and dismantling the organization. In turn, Hamas confirmed Sinwar’s appointment, referring to him as a “Commander” and characterizing Haniyeh as a “martyr leader.”
