Egypt Daily News – The Israeli army warned the residents of the Gaza Strip against approaching several areas, including the Netzarim axis area in the north and the Rafah crossing and the Philadelphi corridor in the south, coinciding with the start of implementation of the ceasefire agreement.

Army spokesman, Avichay Adraee, wrote on his official page on the “X” website: “An urgent statement to the residents of the Gaza Strip regarding the entry into force of the ceasefire at 08:30 in the morning.”

Adraee explained that, based on the agreement, the IDF forces remain deployed in specific areas in the Gaza Strip, adding that one should not approach the army forces in the region until further notice, as approaching the forces exposes them to danger.

The spokesman stated that moving from the south to the north of the Gaza Strip or towards the Netzarim Road is still dangerous in light of the IDF’s activities in the area, stressing that the moment this movement is allowed, a statement and instructions will be issued regarding safe transportation routes. He also warned residents of the consequences of approaching the forces. The IDF in general and in the Netzarim axis area in particular.”

He continued: “In the southern area of ​​the Gaza Strip, it is dangerous to approach the Rafah crossing area, the Philadelphia axis area, and all areas where forces are stationed. In the marine area along the Gaza Strip, there is a great danger for fishing, swimming, and diving, and we warn against entering the sea in the coming days.”

He pointed out that it is forbidden to approach Israeli territory and the buffer zone, as approaching the buffer zone is very dangerous. He also urged not to go towards the buffer zone or towards the IDF forces for their safety, noting that at this stage heading towards the buffer zone or moving From the south to the north through the Gaza Valley exposes them to danger, and anyone who heads towards these areas exposes himself to danger.”
