Egypt Daily News – Along 3 kilometers, starting from the Masoura Square to the Rafah crossing gate, thousands of Egyptians participated in standing in solidarity with the Palestinian people and rejecting the displacement plans.
A continuous waves of Egyptians flow towards the front squares of the Rafah crossing, carrying banners that refuse to displacement and flags of Egypt and Palestine, each expressing the position of the people of a governorate from the governorates of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Many citizens, especially those with children, participated in chanting national songs and slogans such as: “I have Palestinian blood” and “No to displacement”, and “the people of Egypt reject the statements of the American president”, adding that women and girls wore the Palestinian Kufeia, while the tribal sons were keen to wear their Bedouin outfits.
A number of participants confirmed that this was the first time that they saw this crowd near Palestine, and that they did not sleep throughout the night, but they came from yesterday to express the desires of the Egyptian people.
Parliamentarian Ibrahim Abu Shaira said: “This scene is a clear message before the whole world about the position of Egypt and its people, and this is just a few of the general Egyptian people whose national constants are not absent in all circumstances.” He added that the scene is clear to everyone, that all sects of the Egyptian people and political and popular forces cannot be distinguished, as everyone here is only Egyptian.
