Egypt Daily News – Journalist Ahmed Moussa commented on the ongoing U.S. military strikes against the Houthi group in Yemen, which have been taking place for a week as it’s “Time to Cut Off Iran’s Arms in the Region” Ahmed Moussa: Houthis Have Caused Massive Losses to Egypt
Moussa stated: “The United States is currently carrying out an intensive and continuous disciplinary campaign against the Houthi militias from the sea and air, using fighter jets and missiles.”
He added, “It seems that the U.S. has decided to cut off any military supplies from Iran to the Houthis—whether through airports or ports—destroying them to neutralize the Houthis’ military power, which threatens global trade in the Red Sea and the Suez Canal.”
Moussa further remarked, “Houthi missiles are all a bluff and mere propaganda, like their claim of hitting the aircraft carrier Harry Truman with dozens of missiles, all of which fell into the sea. Now, the militias are being targeted by fighter jets from the very same Truman carrier.”
He concluded: “The Houthis have caused massive losses to Egypt and all the countries bordering the Red Sea, including Yemen itself, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Sudan, and Eritrea… It’s time to cut off Iran’s arms in the region.”
