Egypt Daily News – Majed Massoud, head of the Al Ahly fans’ association in the United States, stated that former U.S. President Donald Trump will attend the opening match of the FIFA Club World Cup between Egypt’s Al Ahly and Inter Miami.
In a radio interview on Thursday, Massoud said that several public figures, including Trump, are expected to attend the match. As a result, prior approval is required for any fan displays or banners in the stands during the game.
He also noted that ticket prices have dropped significantly, with tickets now available for $55 compared to the $650 he paid earlier.
Reports have indicated a very low turnout for the newly introduced FIFA tournament, prompting organizers to heavily reduce ticket prices and even offer some tickets for free to encourage attendance.
The opening game of the FIFA Club World Cup on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at 3:00 AM Cairo time (GMT+3). The match will be held in Miami, where Al Ahly is currently in camp preparing for the game .
