Trump's Hush money case

Egypt Daily News – Juan Merchan, the judge overseeing Trump]s “Hush money” case has decided to delay the ruling in the lawsuit against Donald Trump related to the payment made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels until after the upcoming U.S. presidential elections.

The original ruling date was set for September 18 after Trump was convicted of falsifying business records, but it has now been postponed to November 26.

This timing places the ruling just over three weeks after the presidential elections, which are scheduled for November 5.

The case involves allegations that Trump made payments during the 2016 presidential campaign to prevent Daniels from speaking about an alleged sexual relationship.

Trump’s legal team is actively seeking to dismiss the charges against him, which include 34 counts of falsifying business documents. The New York Attorney General’s office had previously indicated that a postponement of the verdict might be considered, and this has now been implemented.
