Trump labeled Swift as “very liberal” and expressed a preference for Brittany Mahomes, wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, suggesting she is among his supporters.
Swift had publicly declared her support for Harris and running mate Tim Walz on Instagram, emphasizing that Harris represents the values she champions and advocating for calm leadership over chaos. In her post, Swift condemned AI-generated images that falsely depicted her as endorsing Trump.
Following her announcement, there was a notable increase in traffic to the Vote.gov website, with over 306,000 visits reported.
Polls in her home state of Tennessee show that her influence could sway voters; a survey indicated that 37% of Tennessee voters identified as Swift fans, with 12% stating that her endorsement could influence their voting decisions.
