Egypt Daily News – The Confederation of African Football (CAF) organized the Best Awards Ceremony for the Year 2024, today, Monday, December 16.

Best of 2024 award winners

The best player in Africa: Ademola Lookman.
Best Goalkeeper: Ronwen Williams.
The best player in Africa: Ronwen Williams.
The best club in Africa: Al-Ahly Club.
Best women’s football club in Africa: TP Mazembe.
Best African Player: Barbara Banda.
The best team in Africa: Côte d’Ivoire
Best coach in Africa: Emercy Fayet, coach of Côte d’Ivoire.
Best Young Player in Africa: Lamine Kamara.

The 2024 Best in Africa Awards ceremony, held under the auspices of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), was held on Monday evening in the Moroccan city of Marrakesh, for the second time in a row.

This year, the ceremony witnessed strong competition for Egyptians, with prizes being awarded in several categories, including the best player within the continent, the best goal, and the best club, with wide participation from Egyptian players and major clubs.

President Sisi’s Award

The Confederation of African Football (CAF), headed by Patrice Motsepe, decided to award the highest award of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), the prestigious award for outstanding achievement for the year 2024, to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

This is in appreciation of the distinguished efforts and extensive contribution to the development and growth of football in Egypt and the African continent through the development of the infrastructure and distinguished football facilities that were built in Egypt, and contributed significantly to the development and growth of football in Egypt and the African continent.
