EgyptDailyNews- Al-Sharqiya Company - Eastern Company, have raised the prices of its local cigarette products by a value ranging between 2.50 and 5 pounds per pack, effective today, Sunday.

Al Sharqiya Company - Eastern Company explained that the increase came in accordance with the provisions of the value added tax and its amendments and in continuation of the Comprehensive Health Insurance Law No. 2 of 2018.

The new prices are:
Cleopatra Box 10" was about 24.50 pounds.
Cleopatra King Size was 34.50 pounds
Cleopatra Soft cigarettes rose to 34.50 pounds.
Boston, Belmont was 34.50 pounds.
Cleopatra Box cigarettes (white, colors) increased from 30 to 34.50 pounds.

Super Star cigarettes increased from 30 to 34.50 pounds.
Mondial cigarettes (red, blue, silver) ranged from 30 to 34.50 pounds.
Mondial Switch (Blueberry, Menthol) was 34.50 pounds.
Cleopatra Black reached 34.50 pounds.
Matossian Super cigarettes was 34.50 pounds.
Mondial Viceroy/Palmall cigarettes increased from 50 to 55 pounds.

This is the second increase in the prices of Eastern Company products during 2024, as the company announced an increase last February.
