EgyptDailyNews - On Saturday Sherine Seif El Nasr's step brother announced her death, and said on his Facebook account: “My little half-sister, the actress Sherine  Seif El-Nasr, has passed away to God’s mercy.”

He said that the prayers and burial took place at the family graves in peace and quiet, as per the deceased request, and that the ceremonies were limited and without condolences, in accordance with her will.

The late Sherine Seif Al-Nasr was born in Jordan, on November 27, 1967. Her father is an Egyptian journalist Elham Seif Al-Nasr, and her mother is a Palestinian. Renown heart surgeon Dr. Gamal Shaaban said that her death was due to a sudden and sharp drop in blood circulation.
