Egypt Daily News – Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly said that all the efforts made to develop the city of New Alamein and the northern coast of Egypt needed marketing and promotion, not only to the outside world, but also to the Egyptian citizen so that they would be aware of the scale of what is being built on the ground.

During a press conference from New Alamein, via the Extra News channel, Madbouly praised the role of the United Company in launching the El Alamein Festival, explaining that this type of festival is part of the strength of the Egyptian state in attracting tourism and investments.

He pointed out that the new city of El Alamein is one of many cities that the state has begun to develop and build, stressing that these cities are what are called smart cities or fourth generation cities.

He continued: “If we review the city from the shore to the depth of the city, it is a city for all Egyptians, and it has all the services. It was built at the highest level of planning, design and construction, and it is a wonderful system.”

He stressed that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s vision of launching this generation of cities is because Egypt needs these cities to accommodate the population increase, and for development to be planned.

He continued: “We learned from previous experiences over the decades that the citizen precedes the state and builds what are called slums, but now good planning is being done,” explaining that the city of El Alamein is not a summer city in just two months, but it is a complete city accommodating more than 4 million people with the completion of the project. Its growth will be a model of coastal cities, and the Egyptian coasts must be taken advantage of.
