Kursk attack: Russia shoots down 4 Ukrainian missiles and kills 2030 Ukrainians

Egypt Daily News – On Wednesday, Russia reported that its air defenses successfully intercepted four Ukrainian missiles over the Kursk region.

The acting governor of Kursk, Alexei Smirnov, conveyed this information via the Telegram app, stating that the region’s air defenses are actively countering attacks from Ukrainian forces. He highlighted the ongoing efforts to protect the region from missile strikes.

Furthermore, the Russian Ministry of Defense shared information about their preparations for ongoing military operations, indicating that comprehensive logistical support has been established for their units in Kursk, which is facing attempts from Ukrainian forces to advance.

They noted that personnel and essential military supplies, including ammunition and equipment necessary for combat, are being systematically delivered to support the defense efforts.

Additionally, the Ministry reported that around 2,030 Ukrainian military personnel have been lost since the onset of hostilities in the Kursk region.
