Egypt Daily News – On Thursday, Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly visited Ras El Hekma in Matrouh Governorate to assess the progress of compensation delivery to eligible citizens.

This visit aimed to ensure that those entitled received their compensation and land designated for alternative housing expeditiously.

Madbouly also reviewed the site for the new Ras El Hekma City project, which involves infrastructure development in collaboration with an Emirati partner, and confirmed that the land acquisition process will commence in phases to facilitate the project’s execution.

During his visit, the Prime Minister reassured locals that the initiative would benefit the entire region, positioning Ras El Hekma as an appealing destination for investment, tourism, and development year-round.

He highlighted the city’s unique attributes that attract diverse investments and projects, emphasizing the government’s commitment to bolstering the necessary infrastructure and improving connectivity through road networks.

In addition, Major General Khaled Shuaib, the Governor of Matrouh, was tasked by Madbouly to provide a daily plan for the transfer of alternative lands and to clarify property ownership for those eligible for compensation, thereby expediting this process.
