Russia displays its strongest weapons in Egypt

The Russian company “Rosoboronexport” announced its participation in the Egypt International Airshow 2024 at Alamein Airport, which will take place from September 3 to 5 of this year.

The CEO of Rosoboronexport, Alexander Mikheev, explained that Russia will showcase the latest achievements of the Russian defense industry in the fields of aviation, air defense, and unmanned vehicles, which have been tested in real combat conditions.

The combat helicopters “Ka-52,” equipped with the multi-purpose guided missile Izdeliye 305E, will be showcased. This helicopter is recognized as the best in its class in the global market and serves as the foundation for the combat units of the Russian Army Aviation. It has been successfully used in combat operations, including the effective destruction of various targets with the 305E missile.

Participants and guests of the exhibition will also have the opportunity to learn about the new multifunctional high-precision cruise missile Kh-69, proposed for inclusion in the armament complex of the fifth-generation fighter Su-57E.

In the unmanned systems sector, the Orlan-10E and Orlan-30 drones will be showcased, which are actively used in combat operations for aerial reconnaissance and target identification. In addition, the company will showcase the RB-504P-E anti-drone system and the fixed-site airspace control system.

In the air defense sector, specialists from Rosoboronexport will discuss the possibilities of creating a multi-layered system to protect military and industrial administrative facilities from aerial threats, including drones of various categories. The company will present the Tor-M2E anti-aircraft missile systems and the Verba portable air defense systems.

The combat capabilities of the Pantsir-S1M air defense system will also be showcased in protecting targets from a wide range of aerial attack weapons. To defeat small drones, Rosoboronexport will present the latest short-range guided anti-aircraft missile, the TKB-1055.
