Netanyahu Genocide

Egypt Daily News – A senior Egyptian source criticized Netanyahu’s claims as unrealistic and an attempt to deflect blame for his government’s failures in Gaza, which the source described as experiencing “genocide.”

This Egyptian response highlighted a growing frustration with Netanyahu’s approach, indicating that his focus on accusations against Egypt reflects his inability to achieve meaningful results, including the safe return of Israeli hostages.

The senior Egyptian official remarked that Netanyahu appears unconcerned with the well-being of the captives, prioritizing his political interests instead.

In a series of statements, Egyptian officials accused Netanyahu of fabricating narratives to mask his administration’s shortcomings, particularly in securing a ceasefire or making substantial progress in the conflict.

Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs had already previously rejected Netanyahu’s statements, arguing that they served to mislead the Israeli public and obstruct negotiations related to a ceasefire and prisoner exchanges.

The situation has drawn solidarity from multiple Arab nations, such as Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Jordan, and Iraq, all of which have condemned Netanyahu’s comments.

The Arab League has joined in expressing support for Egypt, reflecting a unified Arab stance against perceived Israeli provocations.

Amid these developments, Egypt’s Chief of Staff, General Ahmed Khalifa, conducted an unexpected visit to military positions along the Gaza border, signaling a heightened state of alert and preparation in response to the escalating conflict.

This visit was accompanied by the visible mobilization of Egyptian military assets near the border, emphasizing Egypt’s commitment to securing its territory amid rising tensions.
