Egypt Daily News – Mohamed Hani, the right-back of the Egyptian national team, emphasized the importance of winning against Botswana with a score of four goals to none in the qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations 2025 in Morocco.
Hani said on On Time Sports, “We achieved a big victory away from home. The players are men, and this generation deserves more, and that will happen in the coming period with our work alongside the coaching staff.”
He added, “This victory is a message to Africa that this is the rightful place for the Egyptian national team, not just in words but through work, effort, and results.”
He continued, “We were not affected by the change in the match schedule; the players from Egypt are capable of handling any situation with their experience and age, so we went onto the field and played our part.”
In another context, the Al Ahly player spoke about Mohamed Salah’s achievement of playing 100 international matches with the Egyptian national team, saying, “Salah is a legend, and I am proud to play alongside him and learn from him both on and off the field. He is completely different, and that is the secret to his status; he did not reach where he is by chance.”
Mohamed Hani concluded his statements by saying, “I congratulate him, and this is a normal achievement for me. I hope he achieves even more accomplishments; he has made things difficult for those who will come after him.”
