Egypt Daily News – Footage circulating shows a woman killing and eating a cat in a street in the state of Ohio, following former President Donald Trump’s confirmation of the disappearance of pets from the streets in the United States.

In the video, 27-year-old Alexis Viril is seen kneeling on all fours in the middle of the street at night, while an officer asks her, “What did you do?”

Ferrell was charged with animal cruelty and disorderly conduct after killing and eating a cat in a canton in Ohio on August 16.

The police report stated that “the accused tortured, killed, and ate a cat in a residential area in front of several people.” She is currently being held in Stark County Jail on a bond set at $100,000.

A hearing is scheduled to determine Viril’s mental competency on October 15th.

Earlier, NBC reported the news under the headline: “Haitian Woman Eats Neighbor’s Cat in Springfield, Ohio,” claiming that Viril was an immigrant, but in reality, she is a citizen of Ohio.

Karen Grieves, the Director of Strategic Engagement in Springfield, issued a statement regarding the rumors, stating: “In response to recent rumors alleging criminal activity by immigrant residents in our city, we would like to clarify that there have been no reliable reports or specific claims of pets being harmed, injured, or abused by individuals within the immigrant community.”

The statement added: “Moreover, there have been no confirmed cases of migrants engaging in illegal activities such as taking over residents’ homes or dumping garbage in front of them.” “There have been no reports of members of the immigrant community deliberately disrupting traffic.”

For his part, Bob Rowe, Chairman of the Springfield Mayor’s Office, commented: “Such rumors distract us from the real issues like housing concerns and the resources needed for our schools and our strained healthcare system.”

The video surfaced after the former American president repeated a conspiracy theory during his debate with Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris on Tuesday night, claiming that immigrants are eating people’s pets in Ohio.
