Egypt Daily News – Israeli media report that a drone targeted the home of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in an attack that resulted in injuries and damage
The office of the Israeli occupation Prime Minister confirmed that the drone that exploded in Caesarea this morning targeted Benjamin Netanyahu’s house, noting that he and his wife “were not present at the location.”
The drone achieved a direct hit, and its explosion caused injuries. The “Army” of the occupation also admitted that the air defenses failed to intercept the drone.
He said, “3 drones crossed from Lebanon into Israeli airspace, 2 were intercepted, while the third hit a building in Caesarea.”
He added that sirens sounded in military bases in “Gilelot,” north of “Tel Aviv,” after the drone infiltrated from Lebanon, noting that this is the first time sirens have been activated in “Tel Aviv” without being activated on the Home Front app on phones.
This comes as footage spread of a drone flying next to an Israeli helicopter while the latter was searching for it in the outskirts of Haifa.
Israeli media also pointed out that “the drone roamed for an hour before targeting the building in Caesarea,” describing what happened as “a harsh morning.”
It said that “the drone flew about 70 kilometers from Lebanon and hit the building in Qisariya directly, and the shrapnel flew to a neighboring building.” It continued that after the incident, the police closed streets in the city of Caesarea and prevented the media from approaching the site where the drone fell.
It was also noted that there was interference in the GPS system in the area.
More than a million people entered fortified places in the last hour, and many sirens sounded in the settlements from the north to Hasharon.
This comes at a time when resistance operations continue, including repelling attempts by the Israeli army to infiltrate at the Lebanese border, as well as several operations against the Israeli army’s positions, bases, deployments, and settlements in northern occupied Palestine.
