Egypt Daily News – Dr. Ayman Ashour, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Private Universities Council approved the establishment of a new private institution named “Kemet University.”
This university will offer a range of specializations, including Engineering, Humanities, and Social Sciences, with specific programs in Business Administration, Arts, Humanities, Psychology, Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, and Dentistry.
Before commencing its academic activities in these faculties, Kemet University must complete the necessary legal procedures, ensure it has the required human and material resources, and prove its readiness for educational and research activities.
Additionally, the university is expected to establish cooperation agreements with internationally recognized universities.
The meeting was attended by notable figures including Dr. Awad Tag El-Din, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Health and Prevention Affairs, Dr. Hossam Osman, Deputy Minister for Innovation and Scientific Research Affairs, Dr. Abdel Wahab Ezzat, Secretary of the Private Universities Council, Dr. Mostafa Refaat, Secretary of the Supreme Council of Universities, and various university presidents and ministry officials.
