Egypt Daily News – The Lebanese National News Agency reported today Wednesday that the towns of Kafr Kila and Khiam were recently subjected to Israeli artillery shelling.
It indicated that 3 Merkava tanks crossed the Fatima Gate at the separation wall in the town of Kafr Kila, heading towards the Tal Nahas area.
For its part, the Israeli army said in a statement that its forces opened fire on several vehicles carrying some suspects, to prevent them from reaching a restricted area in Lebanese territory, which prompted the suspects to leave.
This comes hours after the announcement of a ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah.
