Egypt Daily News – Within the framework of supporting and strengthening military cooperation relations with friendly countries, the Egyptian and French navies carried out the joint Egyptian-French drills “(“Cleopatra – 2024”, which was carried out over several days within the Northern Fleet in the Mediterranean.

It included holding many lectures to unify the concepts of joint work among all participating elements, as well as training on implementing the right to visit and inspect non-compliant ships, air defense against hostile air targets, as well as training on supply and refueling at sea, in addition to implementing surface artillery firing with live ammunition to repel and destroy enemy targets, in addition to the implementation of different sailing formations, showed the extent of homogeneity between the units participating in the training.

The main phase of the training was attended by Lieutenant General Ashraf Atwa, Commander of the Egyptian Navy, Admiral Christophe Luca, Commander of the Mediterranean Naval Region of the French Forces, and a number of commanders of the Egyptian and French navies.
