Egypt Daily News – The first ambulance group has transported injured and ill Palestinians, including children and their companions, from the Rafah crossing gate on its way to Egyptian hospitals.
A medical source in North Sinai Governorate confirmed that the cases are being transferred successively to the hospitals in North Sinai by the equipped ambulances, where 103 injured and Palestinian patients were received at the Rafah Al -Bari crossing.
Medical sources in North Sinai confirmed that the state of emergency in Sheikh Zuweid Central Hospitals, Bir al -Abd and Al -Arish General, to receive the injured and start their medical treatment programs with teams of specialized consultants. Those with special conditions will be transferred to specialized hospitals outside Sinai.
Major General Khaled Megawer, Governor of North Sinai, said that hospitals were supported with high levels of medical cadres to assist local medical teams, as he drew attention to the role of the Ministry of Health and Population in providing all requirements for treating the injured Palestinian.
Megawer added, in statements that Egypt supports the Palestinian brothers in more than one direction, as it contributed to the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, and paid for thousands of trucks carrying humanitarian aid, and today it receives the injured and patients with all available capabilities.
The Egyptian Red Crescent contributed to the work to help medical and ambulance teams during the arrival and transportation of Palestinian injured.
