Egypt Daily News – U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he could reach an agreement with Egypt and Jordan regarding the future of Gaza, noting that Washington provides them with billions of dollars annually, which he believes gives them an incentive to participate in the solution.

In an interview with Fox News, Trump revealed his plan for the reconstruction of Gaza, saying, “We will build safe communities, possibly up to six residential communities, accommodating 1.8 million people, instead of keeping them in the dangerous conditions they currently live in.”

Trump added to Fox News, “I can reach a deal on the issue with Jordan and Egypt because we give them billions of dollars.”

He emphasized that Palestinians who left Gaza “will not have the right to return,” stressing that his plan would provide them with permanent homes “better than what they were living in before.”

He continued, “We will turn Gaza into a beautiful piece of land,” referring to potential reconstruction projects, without clarifying details about who would oversee the implementation of these plans or Israel’s role in the process.

Earlier on Sunday, Trump had stated that he was committed to buying and owning Gaza and might give parts of it to other Middle Eastern countries to develop.

Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, Trump said, “I will turn Gaza into a great site for future development.” He added, “I will take care of the Palestinians and make sure they are not killed.”

He also mentioned that he would consider “individual cases to allow Palestinian refugees to enter the United States.” He noted that he would meet with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

Egypt Rejects Statements Aimed at Displacing Palestinians

Egypt has “completely rejected any statements aimed at displacing the Palestinian people to Egypt, Jordan, or Saudi Arabia,” expressing solidarity with the brave people of Gaza who remain steadfast on their land despite the horrors they face in defense of their just cause. Egypt reaffirmed its commitment to the established Egyptian and Arab principles, rooted in the right of the Palestinian people to establish their own state.
