Egypt Daily News – President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, visited the Egyptian Military Academy, accompanied by General Abdel Majeed Saker, Minister of Defense and Military Production, Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, as well as top military commanders.
During his visit, President El-Sisi shared an iftar meal with faculty members, newly enrolled cadets, their families, and civilian course attendees at the academy.
According to Presidential Spokesperson Ambassador Mohamed El-Shinawy, President El-Sisi extended his greetings to the attendees on the occasion of the 10th of Ramadan War anniversary, coinciding with Martyr’s Day and Veteran’s Day in Egypt. He emphasized Egypt’s unwavering appreciation for the sacrifices and heroism of its armed forces in safeguarding the nation.
The meeting also addressed regional and global developments and their impact on Egypt’s national security. President El-Sisi highlighted Egypt’s steadfast support for its regional allies during crises and underscored Egypt’s leading role in promoting security, stability, and peace.
He also outlined government efforts across various sectors to enhance Egyptians’ quality of life, stressing the importance of awareness and understanding of emerging issues to safeguard national security. The President urged academy cadets and civilian trainees to excel in their studies, recognizing them as the future of the nation.
President El-Sisi also expressed gratitude to the cadets’ families for their role in instilling strong values of patriotism.
The visit concluded with the Maghrib prayer at the academy’s mosque.
