Egypt Daily News – The”Al Faydah Al Soughra” caused 3 horrific road accidents involving 7 cars and the collapse of two property balconies from midnight, leaving about 33 injured so far.
Al-Tameer Axis
Starting from the Al-Tameer axis road, a horrific collision and overturn occurred between 3 cars, one of them a trailer, resulting in 15 citizens sustaining various injuries throughout the body.
7 injured people were transferred to Al Amriya General Hospital, and 8 injured people were transferred to Burj Al Arab Hospital, to receive the necessary treatment, while the load of the trailer was lifted and traffic was restored.
A 33 passengers Bus
Another collision occurred between a 33-seater bus and a heavy truck “trailer” at kilometer 28 of the Alexandria-Cairo Desert Road, early on Friday morning, resulting in 7 citizens being injured.
Police and traffic units accompanied by 5 ambulances, moved to the site of the accident where the injured were transferred to Al-Amriya General Hospital, to receive the necessary treatment.
Alexandria Desert
Four people were injured in a third collision between two heavy truck trailers in front of the village of Qashou on the Alexandria-Cairo Desert Road, and they were transferred to Al-Ameriya General Hospital as well to receive the necessary treatment.
Police reports of the three incidents have been prepared, and are being presented to the Public Prosecution for investigation.
Abu Kharouf balcony
Seven citizens suffered fractures and bruises in various parts of the body, today, Friday, after the balcony of a 6-storey property collapsed on them in the Abu Kharouf area in Asafra, Qibli, in the second Montazah neighborhood in Alexandria.
Cleopatra’s collapse
A balcony of a property in the Cleopatra area on the Alexandria Corniche, this morning, caused damages of a car parked under it without causing any injuries.
“Al Faydah Al Soughra” storm struck Alexandria, this evening, with heavy rain, northwesterly winds, and cold weather. The minimum temperatures recorded was 12 degrees Celsius.
