Egypt Daily News – Actor and singer Mohamed Ramadan has responded to the widespread controversy surrounding the “Belly dancing outfit” he wore during his recent performance in the United States.
Ramadan posted a photo of himself from the concert, holding up the Egyptian flag, on his official Facebook page, captioning it simply: “Egypt is here.”
The artist faced a wave of criticism after appearing in what many described as a “belly dancing outfit” or clothing resembling “women’s wear” during his performance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival held in California.
The Coachella Festival takes place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, across two weekends — the first from April 11 to 13, and the second from April 18 to 20.
The 2025 Coachella lineup includes major pop, rock, and rap stars such as Lady Gaga, Post Malone, Green Day, Charli XCX, FKA Twigs, Ty Dolla $ign, KeniMusik, Missy Elliott, and more.
