Egypt Daily News – Chairman of the SIS Dr. Diaa Rashwan commented on the publication of the “Jerusalem Post”, of an old picture that brings together President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi, and the late Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi, saying: What was published on that newspaper half an hour after President Sisi finished his meeting with the Kenyan President and in regards to the statements made by President Sisi in this conference, which refused to displace Palestinians and emphasize on the rights of the Palestinian people, and not allowing the liquidation of the Palestinian cause.
He added during a phone call with “Extra News” that his second comment on the image (President Sisi and the Late Iranian President), which insinuated that President Sisi refuses to participate in an alliance to strike Iran, noting that the importance of spreading this type of news quickly by the Israeli press after President Sisi’s statements about Palestine and stress on the rights of the Palestinian people.
Dr. Rashwan explained that President Sisi did not leave a field for manoeuvring or circumventing the rights of the Palestinian people nor Egyptian national security. President Sisi spoke on cooperation with the United States to resolve the Palestinian issue through a two -state solution and emphasize Egyptian national security and closed the door In front of the possibilities that threaten Egyptian national security or try to separate it from the Palestinian issue.
He stressed the aim of publishing this image was a direct threat to the Egyptian leadership (Israel assassinated the Iranian President) , with another indication, which is Israel’s attempt to fuel Egyptian -American relations and incite America against Egypt to claim cooperation with Iran.
