Egypt Daily News – The Arab Republic of Egypt strongly condemned the repeated assaults carried out by Israeli settlers against innocent Palestinian civilians in various towns and villages across the occupied West Bank, the latest of which involved the killing and injuring of Palestinians in the village of Kafr Malik.

Egypt described these systematic attacks as a blatant violation of international law and the four Geneva Conventions, emphasizing that such actions undermine all efforts aimed at achieving security, peace, and stability in the region.

The statement stressed the urgent need for the international community to act to stop these serious violations. Egypt called on the global community to assume its responsibilities in confronting the ongoing injustices faced by the Palestinian people under occupation, and to activate mechanisms of accountability and protection for Palestinians against settler violence.

Egypt reaffirmed its long-standing position that all Israeli settlements in the occupied Arab territories are illegal and represent a major obstacle to achieving a just resolution to the Palestinian issue. It also reiterated its full support for the Palestinian people and their legitimate aspirations to establish an independent state along the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
