Egyptian aid to Sudan

Sudanese media reported the arrival of the largest Egyptian humanitarian aid ship, the Abu Simbel 2, which docked at Port Sudan on Saturday.

This significant shipment, organized by the Egyptian Armed Forces in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Population, the Ministry of Social Solidarity, the Ministry of Awqaf, and the Egyptian Red Crescent Society, contains approximately 200 tons of various humanitarian aid.

The delivery represents one of the largest aid shipments from the Egyptian government to Sudan, aimed at supporting the Sudanese people amid the ongoing challenges resulting from the conflict that erupted on April 15 of last year.

This initiative underscores Egypt’s commitment to providing assistance and relief to those affected by the war.
