The Embassy of Egypt in Doha has announced new measures to facilitate the return of Egyptian nationals in Qatar to Egypt, amid ongoing regional developments.
In a statement, the embassy stressed that the safety of Egyptian citizens remains its top priority, noting that it is working intensively to remove any obstacles that may arise for nationals who wish to depart.
The mission called on Egyptians in Qatar who intend to travel to Egypt to register through its designated online link. It explained that completing the registration will help streamline procedures for obtaining an emergency entry visa to Saudi Arabia if necessary, and will support coordination of assistance with the relevant authorities.
The embassy also urged Egyptian residents working in Qatar and holding valid residency permits to complete all official arrangements with their Qatari employers before leaving the country, in order to avoid potential legal or financial consequences.
Reaffirming its readiness to assist, the embassy encouraged citizens not to hesitate to contact its emergency lines for inquiries or urgent cases, emphasizing that the wellbeing of Egyptians abroad remains a central priority.
