Egypt Daily News – The Egyptian Olympic football team, led by its Brazilian coach Rogério Micale, rose to second place in Group C, after achieving a victory over the Uzbekistan national team with a clean goal without a response, scored by player Ahmed Nabil Koka in the second confrontation between the Pharaohs in the football competitions at the Paris Olympics.
Ranking of the third group is as follows:

Egypt 4 points
Dominican Republic, 1 point
Uzbekistan without points
The Egyptian national team had begun its journey in the 2024 Paris Olympics, with a goalless draw with the Dominican national team, and in the second round it achieved victory over the Uzbekistan national team with a clean goal.
Egypt now faces the Spanish at the end of the group matches in the third round, and is a big step closer to qualifying for the quarter-finals.
