Egypt’s Minister of Defense instructs the Third Field Army to maintain the highest levels of combat readiness

Egypt Daily News – Defense Minister Abdel Majeed Saqr, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, witnessed the execution of the main phase of the drillt for the operational command centers of the Third Field Army. This phase lasted for several days as part of the combat training plan for the formations and units of the Armed Forces.

The event was attended by Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, leaders of the main branches, and a number of Armed Forces commanders.

Major General A.H. Hisham Shandi, Commander of the Third Field Army, delivered a speech in which he emphasized the dedication of the Third Field Army fighters to achieving the highest levels of efficiency and combat readiness. This enables them to carry out all tasks assigned to them in defending the security and safety of the nation, no matter the sacrifices required.

The main phase included a presentation summarizing the operational concept and the previous actions carried out during various stages, as well as the decisions made by commanders during the management of the project.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces conveyed the greetings and appreciation of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to the men of the Third Field Army. He also discussed with a number of participants in the project their methods of executing tasks and how to make optimal decisions to handle all unexpected situations during operations management.

He urged the men of the Third Field Army to maintain the highest levels of combat readiness so that the Armed Forces remain capable of fulfilling their assigned duties and responsibilities under all circumstances. He also joined them for lunch.

Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, oversaw one of the phases of the project, which included the presentation of reports, decisions, and coordination procedures carried out by various specialties. He also engaged with a number of commanders and officers to discuss the tasks that had been executed and introduced several unexpected tactical scenarios to ensure their ability to make sound decisions based on the nature of the situation.
