Egypt Daily News – The Hamas leadership delegation concluded its meetings in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, where they held an in-depth dialogue with the Fatah movement about forming a committee to manage the Gaza Strip on the path to implementing the comprehensive agreements agreed upon nationally to achieve national unity and completely end the division and its multiple effects.
The delegation informed the Fatah of its approval of the proposal submitted by Egypt regarding the formation of a community support committee through comprehensive national mechanisms, according to an official Hamas statement.
The Hamas delegation also held a meeting with the leadership of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, where they discussed the overall political and field developments in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
The delegation also held meetings with a number of Palestinian national and legal figures present in Cairo, where they were briefed on the meetings that took place with the Fatah movement and the movement’s position towards the Egyptian proposal within the national framework.
