Egypt Daily News – The Israeli army announced on Saturday that it had succeeded in the assassination of nine senior Iranian scientists and experts in the field of nuclear science during airstrikes carried out by the Israeli Air Force in Iran on Friday.

In a statement, the Israeli army said that “the attack was made possible thanks to precise intelligence gathered by Israeli intelligence.” The statement added that among the Iranian scientists who were assassinated were individuals who represented “key knowledge centers in the Iranian nuclear project, with decades of cumulative experience in the field of nuclear weapons development.”

The Israeli army published a list of the Iranian scientists it assassinated, which included nine names. Israel announces the assassination of 9 senior scientists in the Iranian nuclear project:

    Mohammad Mehdi Tehranchi, physics expert

      Akbar Matlouzadeh, expert in chemical engineering

      Saeed Barji, expert in materials engineering

      Amir Hassan Faqih, physics expert

      Abdul Hamid Manouchehr, expert in reactor physics

      Mansour Askari, physics expert

      Ahmad Reza Zolfaghari Daryani, expert in nuclear engineering

      Ali Bakaei Karimi, mechanical expert

        The Israeli army described the assassination of the Iranian scientists as “a major blow to the Iranian regime’s ability to acquire weapons of mass destruction.”
