Egypt Daily News – Israeli media reported the sound of sirens in Haifa, Shfaram, Akko, the Krayot, and other areas in the Galilee, following heavy shelling in northern Israel.
“Yedioth Ahronoth” reported that several missile interceptions were recorded in the skies over Haifa and the Krayot. It noted that at the same time, damage was reported due to the fall of rockets in Kiryat Ata, where cars caught fire.
Yedioth Ahronoth pointed out that the attack occurred in Kiryat Ata at a bus stop on one of the city’s streets, where a 17-year-old boy was lightly injured by shrapnel, and significant damage was recorded at the bus stop itself and in the nearby cars.
The Israeli Home Front reported that around 80 rockets were fired towards Haifa and the Upper Galilee during the recent barrage, while 28 people were treated for injuries resulting from this barrage and its aftermath.
The Israeli army spokesperson later confirmed that around 90 rockets were fired at the north in the recent bombardment, noting that during the first bombardment, in which about 80 rockets were launched, most of the rockets were intercepted and their impacts were identified. Meanwhile, in the second bombardment, in which about 10 rockets were launched, some rockets were intercepted and falls were observed in open areas.
