Targeting the Syrian Republican Guard
Earlier, Israeli warplanes carried out raids targeting the headquarters of the 4th Division and the 105th Division of the Republican Guard, in addition to other areas west of the Syrian capital, Damascus.
In a related context, Syrian security sources reported that the Israeli attack targeted an air defense facility near the port of Latakia overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
