Khaled El-Balshy elected as Journalist Syndicate head for a second time with 3,346 votes versus 2,563 for Abdel Mohsen Salama

Egypt Daily News – The judicial committee overseeing the Journalists Syndicate elections announced the victory of Khaled El-Balshy as the new syndicate head, securing 55% of the valid votes.

According to the committee, a total of 6,051 members participated out of 10,232 eligible voters, with a turnout rate of 59.1%. Khaled El-Balshy received 3,346 votes (55% of the valid ballots), while Abdel Mohsen Salama garnered 2,563 votes.

The committee congratulated El-Balshy on his win and extended its appreciation to Abdel Mohsen Salama for his efforts.
