Children massacre Gaza

Egypt Daily News – The Gaza Strip witnessed today a wide Israeli military escalation, resulting in the massacre of Children and women in a series of airstrikes and shelling targeting various areas of the strip. This comes amidst catastrophic humanitarian conditions, with thousands of civilians heading toward overcrowded shelters, while direct Israeli targeting led to what Palestinian medical sources have described as a “massacre of children.”

Simultaneous massacres from north to south

In Jabalia, northern Gaza, the Israeli army targeted a gathering of citizens east of the city, which led to the martyrdom of Palestinians and the injury of others. In the Al-Bureij refugee camp in the center of the strip, a citizen was injured after a drone dropped a bomb on the yard of a UNRWA school that was sheltering displaced people.

In Gaza City, 10 Palestinians, including children, were martyred in an Israeli airstrike targeting a house on Yafa Street in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of the city. The Baptist Hospital received 3 martyrs and several injuries after an airstrike hit the Hamada family home near Al-Salam Mosque in the same area.

The bloodshed continued in the central areas, where 5 Palestinians were martyred in Israeli attacks around the Al-Zafran area in Maghazi, the Al-Zawayda area, and the Al-Masdar village.

Rafah and Khan Younis: A theater of human tragedies

The Israeli army issued immediate evacuation orders for residents of Rafah and the municipalities of Al-Nasr, Al-Shouka, and the eastern and western regional areas, as well as the neighborhoods of Al-Salam, Al-Manara, and Qizan Al-Najjar, urging them to move to shelters in Al-Mawasi. The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that the displacement operations were taking place under “harsh humanitarian conditions,” with increasing overcrowding and a shortage of basic resources.

In Khan Younis, 6 Palestinians, including children, were martyred due to Israeli shelling on a civilian gathering near Al-Halou bakery in the city center. Israeli warplanes also targeted a tent for displaced people with a reconnaissance missile in the Asda area, northwest of Khan Younis, amidst difficulties in ambulances reaching the area. Civilians were also injured after an airstrike on a house on Jamal Abdel Nasser Street.

The tragedy repeated itself in other parts of Khan Younis, where two children were martyred in an airstrike on a house in the city center, while 9 Palestinians, mostly children, were killed in an airstrike on an apartment in the Al-Hamad City, northwest of Khan Younis. Six more victims were martyred due to the shelling of the Al-Muammar family’s house in Joura Al-Lot, and 4 others in the Al-Muqdad family’s house west of Khan Younis. Two more martyrs were reported after an airstrike targeted a house in the Absan Al-Kabira town east of the city.

In Rafah, an Israeli drone dropped a bomb on a group of citizens on Awni Dheir Street, injuring 6 people, while 6 others were injured in a similar attack on the same street.

These escalations come amid a complete international silence and a sharp deterioration in the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, where the displaced are suffering from severe shortages in food, medicine, and shelter. Human rights organizations and international bodies continue to warn of an “unprecedented humanitarian disaster,” urging urgent intervention to stop the bloodshed and protect civilians.
