Egypt Daily News – Mohamed Hamza has qualified for the fencing quarter-finals in individual competitions at the Paris 2024 Olympics, scheduled from July 26 to August 11. He achieved this by defeating Spanish competitor Carlos Lavador, who is ranked 14th in the world, with a score of 15-12 in the final price.

Additionally, Hamza also claimed victory against Polish player Jan Yorkievich, who is ranked third globally, defeating him 15-14 in the 32nd round to secure his position in the quarter-finals. This marks a significant achievement for Hamza as he advances in the Olympic competition.
