Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received the Prime Minister of the Republic of Sudan Dr. Kamil Idris. The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly and the delegations of the two countries.

Spokesman for the Presidency Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy stated that the President welcomed the Sudanese prime minister, emphasizing the depth of the strategic and fraternal relations between Egypt and Sudan.

President El-Sisi further praised the convening of the Higher Coordination Committee on water issues, chaired by the prime ministers of both countries, as a vital framework for coordinating positions and safeguarding the interests and rights of the two brotherly peoples.

For his part, the Sudanese Prime Minister expressed deep appreciation for the warm reception and for Egypt’s support to his country across various fields.

President El-Sisi reaffirmed Egypt’s unwavering stance in supporting Sudan’s stability and territorial integrity, highlighting Egypt’s efforts, regionally and globally, aimed at ending the war and alleviating the humanitarian suffering of the Sudanese people.

The two sides also exchanged views on the latest regional developments, reiterating the importance of continued coordination and consultation between the two countries on all issues of mutual interest.
