The President invited President Trump to visit Egypt at the soonest opportunity to strengthen the strategic relations between the two countries and discuss the complex issues and crises that the Middle East region is going through, thereby contributing to regional stability.

Additionally, the invitation includes participating in the inauguration of the Grand Egyptian Museum. For his part, President Trump extended an open invitation to President El-Sisi to visit Washington and meet with him at the White House.

The call also stressed the two Presidents’ commitment to achieving peace and stability in the Middle East.

The call fostered a positive discussion between the two Presidents, underscoring the critical importance of advancing the implementation of the first and second phases of the ceasefire agreement, and ensuring the stabilization of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

This agreement was facilitated through the mediation efforts of Egypt, Qatar, and the United States. Additionally, the call emphasized the urgent need to increase the delivery of humanitarian aid and relief to the residents of Gaza.

President El-Sisi reiterated the imperative to reach lasting peace in Middle East. He affirmed that the international community places its trust in President Trump’s capacity to secure a historic and enduring peace agreement, which would bring an end to the decades-long conflict in the region.
