The Presidency
Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi visited the Police Academy, where he was received by Minister of Interior Major General Mahmoud Tawfik and a number of senior officials from the Police Academy and the Ministry of Interior.
The Spokesman for the Presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, said the President followed up on the tests of male and female students applying to join the Police College, through the electronic examination results registration system.
The President reviewed all the data of each student and the grades they obtained during all stages of the examinations, which reflects complete transparency.
The President gave directives to continue applying objective standards to ensure the selection of the most distinguished elements, which contributes to improving the performance of the police and its pivotal role in consolidating the pillars of security and stability in the country by preparing new generations of distinguished police calibers.
The President engaged in a dialogue with the students, addressing the internal, regional, and international issues, and listened to their opinions.
The President stressed the pivotal role of the Armed Forces and the civil Police, explaining that the regional situation requires the solidarity of all citizens to continue its advancement and protect it from any threats, and to ensure the preservation of its gains and reap the fruits of development by providing security and stability.
The President also praised the keenness of the new applicants to join the police to serve the country. The President stressed his deep appreciation for the essential role of the police in protecting the country as well as the great sacrifices made by the members of the police and their families over the past years in confronting terrorism, which shows the genuinity of the Egyptian citizen in facing challenges.
