Egypt Daily News – President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron witnessed today the signing of several agreements and memorandums of understanding between Egypt and France, aimed at enhancing bilateral relations and advancing joint cooperation in various fields.
The signed agreements covered areas such as education, healthcare, economic and social development, as well as youth support and capacity building.
A memorandum of understanding was signed between the National Training Academy and the French National School of Administration, along with a cooperation memorandum in the healthcare sector.
Additionally, an agreement was signed to re-establish the French University in Egypt, to establish and develop the Gustave Roussy Cancer Treatment Center in Cairo, and to extend the roadmap for cooperation in implementing the sixth line of the Cairo Metro.
A declaration of intent was also signed regarding the strategic partnership for social and economic development between Egypt and the French Development Agency, aligning with Egypt’s Vision 2030, along with a financial agreement to support social protection programs.
Both sides emphasized the deep historical ties between the two countries during the signing ceremony and reaffirmed their commitment to continued coordination and mutual consultation, to serve the interests of both friendly nations and enhance stability and development in the region.
