Egypt Daily News – President Sisi has arrived in the Qatari capital, Doha, at the start of a Gulf tour that includes visits to several countries. He was received at Hamad International Airport by Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar.
The visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations between Egypt and Qatar and to explore avenues of cooperation in various political and economic fields.
It is expected that the visit will include a series of bilateral meetings to deepen ties and expand collaboration in areas of mutual interest.

Presidential spokesperson Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy stated that President Sisi’s Gulf tour will include visits to multiple countries in the region, with the goal of enhancing regional and international cooperation. During his stay in Doha, President El-Sisi is scheduled to discuss with Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani regional developments, particularly the Palestinian issue and ongoing efforts to achieve a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, according to El-Shennawy’s statement.
As part of the visit, the Egyptian president will also meet with representatives of the Qatari business community to explore economic cooperation opportunities.
Following his visit to Qatar, President El-Sisi will head to Kuwait, the second stop on his Gulf tour. The visit underscores the deep strategic relations between the two countries and their shared interest in expanding economic and investment cooperation.
In Kuwait, President El-Sisi is scheduled to meet with Emir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and Sheikh Fahad Youssef Saud Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior, and Acting Prime Minister.
