President Sisi decrees to reconstitute the Board of Directors of the Central Bank

Egypt Daily News – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi issued a decree to reconstitute the Board of Directors of the Central Bank, headed by Hassan Al-Sayed Hassan Abdullah, Acting Governor of the Central Bank, as of November 27, 2024, for a period of one year.

According to the issue of the Official Gazette issued in Egypt on Thursday, the formation included the membership of: Rami Ahmed Adel Abul Naga, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank, Tariq Muhammad Badawy Al-Kholy, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank, and Muhammad Farid Saleh, Acting Chairman of the Financial Regulatory Authority.

The formation also included Ali Muhammad Ali Faramawi, a technology expert, Naglaa Anwar Al-Ahwani, an economic expert, Sherif Hussein Kamel Muhammad, a financial expert, and Muhammad Othman Ibrahim Al-Deeb, a banking expert.

The formation also included Samiha Al-Sayyed Fawzi as an economic expert, Essam Muhammad Abdel Hadi Amer as a financial accounting expert, and Khaled Ibrahim Saqr Ali as an economic expert.
